2017년 부활절 남북(북남) 공동 기도문
죽음을 죽이시고 부활하신 주님,
부활의 기쁨을 기억하는 이 계절에 초록 생명의 기운을 통해
생명의 신비를 보여주시니 감사드립니다.
그렇습니다! 주님,
하나님께서는 이 세상을 보시기에 아름답게 창조하셨고,
죄 때문에 하나님과 상관없이 살아가던 이들을 구원하시려고
독생자 예수 그리스도를 이 땅에 보내주셨습니다.
주님은 이 땅에서 하나님의 자녀로 사는 삶의 모범을 보여주셨습니다.
성령님은 예수 그리스도를 본받아 살아가고자 하는 이들을 도우시며
우리의 역사를 이끌어 오셨습니다.
하오나 주님,
우리는 70년이 넘는 세월을 남북/북남으로 나누어진 채
민족 분열의 아픔을 겪고 있습니다.
‘하나님 안에서 하나가 되리라’는 소망도 잊은 채,
하나님 아닌 것들을 의지하며 평화를 잊고 살아왔습니다.
우리를 불쌍히 여겨주십시오.
그리하여
죽음과도 같은 분단의 세월, 녹슨 철조망을 걷어내고
남과 북/북과 남이 평화롭게 더불어 살아갈 수 있는 날을 이루게 하시고,
그 일을 위해 굳은 땅을 갈아엎고 씨를 뿌리는 농부의 심정으로 일하게 하십시오.
주님,
우리로 하여 먼저 자신의 굳은 마음을 갈아 부드러운 마음이 되게 해 주십시오.
한껏 부드러운 마음에 서로 감싸 안을 수 있는
관용의 씨앗과 사랑의 씨앗과 섬김의 씨앗을 뿌리게 하시고,
하나님은 그 땅과 씨앗에 복을 주시어
삼십 배 육십 배 백 배의 열매가 맺히게 하시며,
더불어 삶의 기쁨을 누릴 수 있도록 우리 민족에게 은혜를 베풀어주십시오.
부활의 하나님,
남과 북/북과 남의 교회가 차갑고 암울한 죽음과도 같은 현실을
극복할 수 있음을 꿈꾸게 해 주십시오.
평화의 하나님,
우리 민족의 진정한 의사를 한데 모으고 힘을 합쳐 민족의 부활인
조국통일을 이루도록 해 주십시오.
우리로 하여금 남과 북/북과 남이 하나 되어 살아가던 옛적 일을 기억하게 하셔서
더불어 살아가는 평화의 나라를 꿈꾸도록 도와주십시오.
생명의 하나님,
봄의 소식이 들려오는 부활의 계절에 우리 민족이 동토(冬土)에
솟아오르는 새순과 새싹을 보면서 희망을 보게 해주십시오.
정의의 하나님,
이 땅에 당신의 영광을 위해 정의가 강물처럼 흐르게 하셔서
당신의 계획을 속히 이루어 주십시오.

2017 Easter Joint North-South Prayer
Lord who has defeated death and risen
In this season where we remember the joys of resurrection,
Thank you for showing the marvels of life through green spirited lives
Yes Lord!
This world was created beautifully in God’s eyes
Who sent his one and only Son, Jesus
To save those who have sinned against You
Lord, you have shown us how to live as God’s children
And His Spirit has led us not only through life
But also through history
But Lord,
The sorrows of the 70-years ethnic separation
Still lingers since our North South division
We have lost the hopes of ‘becoming one with God’
And have sought after earthly goods instead of peace
Pity us Lord
Clear away the pain-filled memories of separation,
And also the rusty barbed-wires
Help the North and the South fulfill a life of harmony and peace
Like how the farmer readies himself to till new land and plant new life,
Prepare us Lord
Lord,
Help us first open our firmly closed hearts
So that we can embrace each other with tenderness
Let us sow the seeds of tolerance, love and service
And with God’s blessings,
May that land bear much fruit
And bless our people with a life full of joy and harmony
God of life,
Help the churches of the North and the South
To defeat this cold death-like reality
God of peace,
Help us work together with one united mind
To fulfill the dreams of unification
Help us remember the days when the North and the South once were one
To better relive the world of harmony and peace
God of life,
In this season of resurrection where we await the signs of Spring
Help us see the hopes of new life
Sprouting in the cold barren land
God of justice,
In this land where Your glory awaits
Let the rivers of justice flow
Bringing forth Your plans for us
In Jesus name, who have defeated death and risen again, Amen
