The 64th General Assembly of the National Council of Churches in Korea will be held on Monday, November 23rd, 2015, at the Seoul Evangelical Church.
The theme for this assembly will be: “The trembling Church, into the wilderness again,” based on Luke 1:68-79 and Micah 6:1-8. This theme contains the promise that the Korean Church reflect on its own deep crisis, restore our appointment with God, and restore the first covenant made in the season of wilderness. This theme is also our confession that the Korean Church, returning to basics, will stand together at the site of adversity.
This assembly will include a worship service of commitment for church accord and unity, as well as deliberation and resolution of the amended NCCK charter, the appointment of the new executive and the auditor, approval of the budget proposal, report and business plan, and adoption of the declaration of the 64th General Assembly, etc.
