The National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK) heard about the news regarding attacks on Mark Lippert, US ambassador, on the 5th at the event organized by Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation. We cannot possibly express the depth of our concerns. Regardless of any purpose, communication through violent means cannot be justified. We hope that there is no misunderstanding between Korea and US due to this incident. In addition, we hope for the fast recovery of Mr. Lippert and would like to offer words of consolation to his family.
