At this time I wish to offer you all New Years Blessings, as our Lunar New Year holiday begins on February 18, and so I wish you Health and Joy in the coming year.
Brothers and sisters throughout the world, at Christmas time each year for the past several years, the NCCK has organized a campaign to raise funds to send humanitarian aid to North Korea. From Christmas, then with a special focus on our Lunar New Year, and going through Lent to the great life-giving celebration of Easter, we try to bring assistance to nourish needy children and old people at the end of a long cold winter. Our appeal this year is hoping to send 100 tons of flour to North Korea, to the noodle factory supported by the Ecumenical Forum and the Korea Christian Federation. The cost of this project will be $65,000 USD. At this time, we invite those who feel a call to share to make a donation through:
