A scene of flowers approaching me –
Poem written by Prof. Oh Jae Shik
Flowers that approached me
presented impressions of a scene
that made my heart beat.
The beating scene called to me
and bid me stay.
Innumerable people,
either being with me,
passing me by, or still persisting -
wherever they were standing,
called me to themselves.
I made my way through the years
with a tapestry woven of those people.
Without them this magical fabric wouldn’t have been made.
The fabric that I made with them in one scene
can be reborn as another scene’s clothing.
It is the season of the high sky.
A tree is ready to drop its leaves from its body,
to stand still through the Winter, to survive.
This separation won’t last forever.
It promises a new, stronger, and abundant sight.
