GENERAL ASSEMBLY, 2013

The Annual NCCK General Assembly was held on Nov. 18 at the Korean Salvation Citadel, with the theme: “Becoming one church and one world – the Church, its Public Character and Hope”.

The main business was the review begun last year to look at the public character of the church. The meeting adopted financial standards for the churches to practice, which will provide clear accountability and transparency.

2014 will be the 90th anniversary of NCCK, so the Assembly made plans for celebration, and for a consultation to take place.

Commander Park Jong Dok of the Salvation Army was named as NCCK President for the coming year.
