일본연합교회((UCCJ) Claudia Genung Yamamoto 목사로부터 받은 지진 후의 일본연합교회에 대한 소식입니다. 아래의 내용을 보시면 됩니다. 우리 서로 기도를 계속합시다.
✜ 호카이도 :
몇몇 교회들이 약간의 손상을 받았으나, 거의 모든 교회의 상황이 괜찮습니다.
✜ 아오마리 :
대부분의 교회 건물과 교인들이 괜찮습니다. 그러나 어떤 지역에서 가스가 부족합니다. 하치노헤에 있는 한 교인이 집을 잃었습니다.
✜ 이와테 :
여덟 개의 교회 건물이 손상을 입었습니다.(이와테 지역에 20개의 교회가 일본연합교회에 속해있습니다.) 이 교회들의 첫 번째 층은 물에 잠겼습니다. 집을 잃은 사람도 있습니다. 해안선을 따라서 있는 교회의 몇몇 회원들은 연락이 되지 않습니다. 사람들은 실종된 사람들에게 어떤 일이 발생했는지 걱정하고 있습니다. 몇몇 지역은 커다란 손실을 입었습니다.
✜ 아키타현의 타카슈 교회 :
가스의 부족, 기차가 멈추었습니다. 음식을 얻기가 매우 어렵습니다. 다른 교회들은 거의 괜찮습니다.
✜ 미야기 :
일본에서 가장 커다란 손실을 입은 지역입니다.
✜ 이시마키 :
사람들을 돕기 위해서 가스가 필요합니다. 미야기노 아이센 교회는 그들의 이웃을 위해서 잠자리를 제공합니다.(약 50명) 센다이 이쭈스바시 교회: 교인 35명이 지금 연락을 할 수 없습니다. 13명의 사람이 센다이 미나미 교회에서 생활을 하고 있습니다. 지금 8개의 교회가 연락을 할 수 없습니다. 약 10개의 교회가 손상을 입었습니다. 17개의 교회는 괜찮습니다.
✜ 후쿠시마 :
아이주 지역은 거의 손상이 없음에도 불구하고 다른 지역(16개 교회)는 약간의 손상을 입었습니다. 벽에 균열이 있고 천장이 무너졌습니다. 몇몇 교회는 유치원과 보육원이 있습니다. 어린이들은 안전합니다. 그러나 건물들은 손상을 입었습니다. 야부키 교회는 보육학교를 가지고 있습니다. 그러나 그것을 계속해서 운영하는데 있어서 어려움이 있습니다. 6개의 교회는 연락할 수 없습니다. 쿠리야마 교회: 몇몇 회원들은 실종되었습니다. 이미 알고 있듯이, 후쿠시마는 역시 심각한 방사능 유출 사고를 가지고 있습니다.
✜ 야마가타 :
대부분의 교회는 괜찮습니다. 그러나 눈 때문에 두 개의 교회는 어떤 손실을 가지고 있는지에 대해서 알지 못합니다.
✜ 니이가타 :
거의 모든 교회가 괜찮습니다.
✜ 사이타마 :
히가시 마츄야마 교회에 천장에 손실이 있음에도 불구하고 대부분의 모든 교회는 괜찮습니다.
✜ 구나마 :
두 교회가 야간의 손실을 가지고 있음에도 불구하고, 대부분의 모든 교회가 괜찮습니다.
✜ 토치기 :
9개의 교회가 괜찮습니다. 7개의 교회는 약간의 손실을 가지고 있습니다. 벽에 균열이 있고 천장이 무너져 내렸습니다.
✜ 이바라기 :
5개의 교회가 괜찮습니다. 14개의 교회가 약간의 손상을 입었습니다. 벽에 균열이 있고, 천장이 무너져 내렸습니다. 지붕 타일이 떨어졌습니다.
오누키 케이센 교회: 케이센 보육학교 건물이 침수되었습니다. 어린이들은 안전합니다.
✜ 카시마 교회 :
놀이터에 균열이 있습니다.
✜ 치바 :
치바 혼초 교회 :
유치원 건물의 일부가 붕괴되었습니다. 치바교회는 난민의 장소로서 교회건물을 열었습니다.
✜ 도쿄 반초 교회 :
벽에 균열이 있습니다.

Here is an update on the Kyodan (United Church of Christ in Japan)
churches after the quake, received from Rev. Claudia Genung Yamamoto, a volunteer for the National Christian Council in Japan (NCC Japan).

✜ Hokkaido :
Though few churches had a little damage, But almost all other churches are OK.
✜ Aomori Prefecture :
Most of the church buildings and members are OK. But Luck of Gas in certain areas. One church member lost his/her house in Hachinohe.
✜ Iwate Prefecture :
8 churches" buildings had damage. (There are 20 churches belong to Kyodan in Iwate.) Few of them were flooded above the first floor. There are people who lost their houses. And there are some church members along the shore who can"t be reached. People worried about what has happened to the missing people. Some area had heavy damage.
✜ Akita Prefecture Takasu Church :
Luck of gas. The trains stop running. It"s a difficult to get food. The other churches are almost OK.
✜ Miyagi Prefecture : which had the heaviest damage in Japan.
✜ Ishimaki area :
Need gas to help people! Miyagino Aisen Church provides a place to sleep for their neighbors (about 50 people). Sendai Itsutusbashi Church：There are 35 members who can"t be reached now. 13 people take refuge in Sendai Minami Church. There are 8 churches can"t be reached now. About 10 churches had some damage. 17 churches are OK.
✜ Fukushima Prefecture :
Though Aizu area had almost no damage, the other areas(16 churches) had some damage, as there were some cracks in the walls, or some parts of ceiling dropped. Some churches have nursery school or kindergartens, The children are safety but some of their building had damage. Yabuki church has a nursery school, but It"s difficult for them to continue running it. There are 6 churches can"t be reached. Kouriyama Church: There are some members who can"t be reached. As you know, Fukushima has a serious radiation accident, too.
✜ Yamagata Prefecture :
Most of all churches are OK. But two churches don"t know if they had some damage, because of snow,
✜ Niigata Prefecture :
Almost all churches are OK.
✜ Saitama Prefecture :
Though Higashi Matsuyama Church had damage in the ceiling a little. Most of all churches are OK.
✜ Gunma Prefecture :
Though two churches had a little damage, Most of all churches are OK.
✜ Tochigi Prefecture :
9 churches are OK. 7 churches had some damage: cracks in the walls, or the ceiling dropped.
✜ Ibaragi Prefecture :
5 churches are OK. 14 churches had some damage: cracks in the walls, the ceiling dropped, the roof tiles dropped. Oonuki Keisen Church: Their Keisen nursery school building was flooded above the floorboards. Their children were safety. Kashima Church: There is a crack in their playground.
✜ Chiba Prefecture :
Chiba Honcho Church: A part of their kindergarten building collapsed. They open the church building as a place of refuge.
✜ Tokyo Bancho Church: There is a crack in the wall.
