Stop the brutal invasion on Iraq
Ignoring the world citizen"s eager for peace and U.N"s effort for negotiation, Bush"s Administration began the war under the name of "shock and awe" and make the world as an savage killing field. It is because of the imperial greedy that Bush"s Administration attacked on Iraq without minimal international agreement. The war on Iraq without other countries" asking for removing the homicidal weapon and punishing support for terrorist is the debasing crime against the people in the world. Like an brutal beast in jungle, rejecting the dialogue of international society under the guise of establishing the democratic government in Iraq proves Bush"s hypocrisy and deceptive contradiction of itself.
Furthermore it shudders us that Bush beautifies the brutal bloody war as a holy war against the evil axis using the phrase of Christian faith. He devalues the respect of life and peace every religion respects and instigates the fundamentalists and justifies their aggressive and violent belief. We church women who meditate and pray sacrifice for reconciliation of Jesus Christ in Lenten conform our determination under the grave circumstance of being justified with Christian faith by the unjust and hypocritic power through the history until 21th century.
Deriding every effort of international society, by way of excuse of removing mass homicidal weapon, Bush chose the invasion. Therefore he contradicts oneself using mass destruction weapon for oil in Middle East and conforming USA as the only super powerful country. This horrible choice will cause the causalities of blameless people like children and women and unrecoverable devastation. He may regard the war as an playground for experimenting the new weapon. Stop the war right now. Stop the killing people immediately.
Korean government and President Roh Moo-hyun becomes the confederate of US among 30 countries by supporting the attack at Iraq and dispatching noncombatants and medical troops at the price of peace making of North Korean nuclear crisis and by way of the Korea-US alliance. This immorality and dual consciousness at the logic of power and at the expenses of blood of Iraq people will cause back serious crisis of peace of Korean peninsular. This is not realistic way but causes more serious crisis. When peace in Korea is intimidated international society will not help because of the mark of immorality.
